Join us downtown for a brilliant display of lights and holiday cheer as the community lights up the tree together.
🚒 Glows Parade – 6:00 PM | Downtown to Lincoln Park
Experience thousands of twinkling lights, creative floats, and the festive spirit of Fairmont — capped off with a special appearance by Santa and Mrs. Claus courtesy of the Glows Committee!

Clubs, organizations, and businesses are invited to participate in this beloved Martin County tradition. Get creative, light up your entry, and help make Fairmont truly GLOW! (No additional Santas, please — let’s keep the magic alive for our youngest spectators.)
🍬 Important Safety Reminder:
For everyone’s safety — especially our youngest spectators — due to limited visibility and often slippery/wet conditions we ask our Glows Parade participants to hand out candy and/or giveaways instead of throwing them from floats to help prevent children from running into the street.
🏆 Prizes – Three $50 Chamber Gift Certificates will be awarded:
• Best Business Glow Award – For standout commercial entries that light up Downtown
• Best Community Glow Award – For churches, clubs, and local groups spreading holiday cheer
• Grand Glow Award – For the brightest, most creative, and crowd-pleasing float overall
