Santa Claus is Coming to Town! – Glows Parade and Fly-in 2015

Santa Claus, direct from the North Pole, will be arriving at the Fairmont Airport on the North Pole Express at 4:05 p.m., Friday, November 20th. Everyone is invited to meet and greet this special arrival. Remember to bring your camera.

Join us on Friday, November 20th for the Glows Parade along with pre- and post-parade activities. The First Congregational Church, 319 Downtown Plaza, will be serving soup and hot sandwiches from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. and complementary coffee and hot cider curb side, bars available. The Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1200 North North Avenue, will be serving Chili and Oyster Stew from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Martin County Humane Society will be having a Bake Sale and serving Turkey Melt Sandwiches at St. John’s UCC church basement 4:30 -9:00pm. Gran D’s Popcorn will be serving fresh popped popcorn on the corner of Downtown Plaza and 3rd Street. Heaven’s Table will be collecting food shelf items during the parade, please bring an item to donate. After the parade stop down to the American Legion for music and fun.

The Glows Parade begins at 6:00 p.m. Come and see the wonderful floats, thousands of lights, appearance of Santa on the 26th anniversary of the Glows parade. If you have any questions please contact the Chamber of Commerce at 507-235-5547. This is an event for all ages!
