About the Presentation:

Amanda will share how to think outside of traditional brick and mortar mindset to open up your business to the many possibilities that are available online. You can use social media (Facebook and Instagram) to engage more with your customers and improve their experience when they visit your store. Social media also allows you to draw new customers into your business.

About the Speaker:

As a successful brick and mortar retail business owner, Amanda has used her passion for helping people become healthier to drive her business endeavors for the last 10-plus years. She loves small businesses and thriving small towns. Amanda has made it her mission to share how she uses social media creatively and resourcefully to grow her business. She is passionate about helping other business owners and community leaders understand and leverage the power of social media to grow their organizations, and in turn to help their communities thrive.

She knows that oftentimes, jumping into this online world requires a little leap. Amanda took a leap of faith herself when she left her job as an elementary Spanish teacher to purchase a health food store and has been taking similar leaps ever since. Through this growing process, she became aware of the challenges that face entrepreneurs and small businesses. Never giving up has become a part of her mantra, and she can’t wait to share it with groups of dream chasers for years to come.
