What is the Fairmont Area Chamber of Commerce?
The Fairmont Area Chamber serves as a strong non-profit professional organization whose mission calls us to be ‘an advocate for promoting a healthy business climate by facilitating access to leaders, communication and education through programs and services for its members.’ Our membership is committed to the concept that there is enormous strength in unity and great benefit to be gained in the exchange of information and ideas.

We feel that the membership and the community should view the Fairmont Area Chamber of Commerce as a valuable part of any business and community strategy. Our goal is to provide improved programs and services to enhance the business climate and community through advocacy, promotion, networking and resources.

How can I make the most out of my membership?

How much does it cost to join the Fairmont Area Chamber of Commerce?
The Chamber’s membership dues are calculated based on full-time equivalent employees. For example if you have two part time employees that each work 20 hours per week they would equal 1 full time employee. How do I know if the chamber is for me?
Not all businesses are perfect fits for Chamber membership; please contact the chamber and one of our knowledgeable staff members will help you decide it is a good investment for your company.

What are the benefits of joining the Fairmont Area Chamber of Commerce?
The Fairmont Area Chamber of Commerce offers its membership various networking opportunities with peers, government officials and business leaders. Members receive timely, relevant information so that they may be kept informed; professional development workshops and seminars so that they may gain valuable knowledge and skills to help them succeed; and policy and communications expertise to assist them in advocating their positions and business interests.

How do I register a complaint about a business?
Contact the Better Business Bureau by visiting their website or by calling 800-646-6222.

I am considering relocating to the area. Do you have any relocation information?
