The mission of the Agri-business Committee Martin County is to provide a means for farmers and businessmen to promote the importance of agriculture in Martin County. This productive group awards two $4,200 ag scholarships (CLICK HERE for more info about scholarships) to Martin County high school seniors each year, co-sponsors the Minnesota State Pork Masters Golf Outing, provides agricultural awareness information to the community, supports ag related courses and FFA in the Fairmont Area School District, coordinates the Blue Ribbon Pork Cook-Off held each year at the Martin County Fair and, for some elections, the committee hosts the “ Meet the Candidates Steak BBQ.” Please feel free to attend meetings held at various dining establishments on the third Tuesday each month November through May.
