Speakers Series Program

The Fairmont Area Chamber leads a program to offer seed money for a lecturer/speaker series to the citizens of this area on topics that will inform and stimulate thought. Primary topic areas will include, but are not limited to, identification of our competitive advantage, youth and family, early childhood, health issues, substance abuse, farming, agriculture, and the environment.   The goals of the series have been identified as:  1) Help make Fairmont a highly competitive community.   2) Provide high quality instruction to our area professionals and citizens.   3) Stimulate discussion and involvement on important community issues.  4) Improve Fairmont’s quality of life through community education.   5) Create a coordinated series that makes Fairmont a better place.
